This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Well, felt like maybe I should update the good old journal, since I haven't for quite some time.
Some super awesome news; I have officially handed in my last assignment EVER!!! well, for high school ever anyways. Excluding my two major works, Art and Extension English *dies*
Aaannnddd, I've finally started entering local art contests and the like, and I'm getting some pretty pleasing results. For example I won the art contest at this little local festival called CRAPfest (short for Creative, Recreational, Arts and Performance Festival) and was stoked to see that they printed the results in the newspaper, even though they spelt my name with two 'l's I was pretty proud.
Got another one coming up next month with the theme Seeds of Change. (oo-er and ah)
AND, possibly the biggest news yet, I've applied for a job as a host on a new tv show all about art, will be shown here in Australia, if I get the job it'll be super McAwesome because I can put off my procratination about University for a while, and make money!! The lady very much liked my audition tape. It was rather amusing.
And in other news yet again, I have but two small artbooks to complete.
That's right clubbers, I am up to art book #49!! *gasp* And so with just around two months till graduation I've got to get drawing. And maybe if I stop being lazy I might just get around to scanning some of my stuff and getting it up here on DA. That'd be nice.
But yup, that's about all for exciting art news.
Um, in other news, my school did it's annual performance night on Thursday, it's called MADDD (Music, Art, Dance, Drama, and Design) and involves all sorts of acts. One thing of note about our performance night is that any of you guys out there who live in Australia and watched Australia's Got Talent this year, well Nobel Lakaev is actually a friend of mine and he did some awesome dancing at MADDD. And my friend/neighbour sang, she sounds a bit like Joss Stone, but more awesome 'cos she's my friend
And as for my participation, well, I was the one who did the lighting, so that everything looked awesome. Ahahahahaha, I did a pretty damn good job really. If I do say so myself, but it's all part of a course I'm doing at my neighbouring school. So that went well.
I also opened the show as the singer for the Year 12 act, which was The Cat Empire's "Car Song" I dressed as a boy and sang like one too, everyone was mighty impressed, (especially when I did a very funky dance in the musical interlude)
And then I was also one of three singers in the Finale, which was The Time Warp!!! oh yes. I was Columbia, so very funny, I've got to be the shortest, curviest Columbia ever, but oh well, it was more that I could do the voice. And my tap solo went horribly wrong. AND I accidentally forgot one of my lines in the song but made it look like the mic had dropped out (so naughty) and yush. I really didn't mind the make-up at all, that was fun. BUT I was wearing these sparkly pants as a jacket, and they dug into my arms something chronic.
All in all, it was a lot of fun, best part was the year twelve act, I mean being on stage with all my friends and just being the idiots that we are and enternaining the masses while we were at it, that was pretty awesome.
But I shall bore you no more with my speeches, just thought I'd let you know what I've been up to is all.
